‘Twas the month before Christmas and none could contrive
The days of our lives the last 365
The scare from last year filled our diary pages
Our trip to Hawaii was one for the ages
And how was the year for the girl we call Dom
She’s approaching a time when she won’t be a Tom
As a lady her grace will never have bounds
Nor will her push ups and bench pressing pounds
Our Michael’s a boy who’s finding his ways
School, sax and scouts consume all of his days
He’s thrilling, he’s love, he’s an amusement park ride
But sometimes we scream, “IT’S BEST YOU GO HIDE!”
And Lisa’s the rock, the kids make her proud
She’s writing a book about something called “cloud”
She takes walks, she reads books, she’s a wonderful Momma
Her only missed task was not killing Usama
As for me my life took a political skew
Please Google the phrase “H.RES.422″
You’ll discover my passion throughout this last year
For me it has been an amazing frontier
But the hero this year was a Grandpa named John
When the beast came around he “got his game on”
He stared down the demon, a formidable foe
And victory’s his with years more to go!
So whatever your passion in wherever you delve
Please remember to vote in two thousand and twelve
In your own special way be your country’s defender
Merry Christmas to all have a happy December
