Los Angeles – Westside

Welcome to What’s Up For Kids – Los Angeles. My name is Christie Richards and I am honored to be the Los Angeles Westside City Editor for  this wonderful magazine and website.  I am also a mother of two adventurous girls who certainly keep me occupied. We LOVE going out  on the weekends to explore this beautiful city. I mean hello we do live in LA!  My goal here as city editor is to help parents and children disconnect from their phones, internet, games and get back into the world and connect with your kids while bringing more city culture and family memories into the home.  I promise to share with you all the latest and coolest events, classes, shows, musicals, museum exhibits, the best playgrounds, all the best resources for birthdays along with a little kid’s style and favorite products. I’m so excited to share parenthood with you and all the valuable resources we have here at What’s Up For Kids – LA!  I hope to meet you and your little ones out on the town!

P.S.  Please be sure to sign up for our weekly e-magazine to get the latest events going on around town delivered directly to your email inbox and definitely connect with me on  Facebook or Twitter, for all the “up to the minute” fun things to do! See you around town!

Warmest Wishes xoxo
Christie

Wow I can’t believe December is finally here. That means 24 days until the big day! I haven’t done anything to prepare for Christmas Mania. Now that I have two daughters I am responsible for creating holiday traditions for them to grow up with and hopefully pass on to their children. No pressure. I came up 10 ideas to help us get in the holiday spirit.
