“The 1st Annual Event is a great way to celebrate back to school and spotlight the comprehensive after school activities for South Bay kids,” says Cathy Alessandra, president and publisher of What’s Up for Kids, a South Bay magazine, which is co-sponsor/producer of the expo with South Bay Galleria.
In celebration of back to school, parents can obtain the latest information about what is available to them and their family, along with a host of fun filled activities from academics to art, music and sports. “Family Fun Fest is a great way to end the summer, while back-to-school shopping. Cathy has amazing resources and is bringing in entertainers, educators and fabulous health-related activities the whole family will enjoy. We’re introducing the first ever “Hello Kitty” treasure hunt throughout the Galleria. Finalists will have a chance to win a $100 Galleria shopping spree,” says Mickey Marraffino, Marketing Director, South Bay Galleria.

Vitality City will be on hand to highlight the Power 9 principles to live a longer, healthier life, including a cooking demonstration, walking moai sign-ups with walking teams competing to win a prize, Wine@5, and other healthy living demonstrations.
