Banff – Alberta Canada

Banff – Alberta Canada

It’s that time of year again when we head to the snow. Most Southern Californian’s head north to Mammoth and Lake Tahoe, this year take the family a bit further north to Banff in beautiful Alberta Canada. Calgary International airport is serviced by most major airlines with direct service from LAX. A short 3-hour flight puts you in the memorable Canadian Rockies.

Banff National Park is home to three of the worlds finest ski resorts: Mt. Norquay, The Lake Louise Ski Area (also fabulous in summer) and Sunshine Village. All three are an hour apart from each other and offer skiing and snowboarding.

Families have a variety of choices with the beautiful Fairmont Lake Louise, Banff Caribou Lodge and The Mount Royal Hotel. Most offer 4th night free and lift packages to suit any length of stays.
